to integrative trauma work, parts work, and embodied healing

I practice and share my own flavour of intuitive somatic-based healing, a synthesis shaped by years of personal healing and study. My work is grounded in the principle of loving and curious presence: a mindful awareness of thoughts, sensations, and emotions. With this simple yet profound intention of presence, even destructive thoughts, habits, and emotions can begin to orient toward love; restoring flow, harmony, and natural order into the internal system.

The basics come down to bringing radical love to the hurt child parts within

What happens when we stop running from what hurts?

Emotional healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about listening to what’s been waiting to be heard. In the work I offer, we create a space where the tangled threads of your inner world can slowly begin to loosen. This process draws from a range of therapeutic influences — body-based awareness, inner parts dialogue, ancestral patterns, and trauma-informed care — to support you in reconnecting with the wisdom already held in your body.

You may notice certain patterns repeating in your life — a sense of being stuck, overwhelmed, overly reactive, or emotionally shut down. These patterns often stem from parts of us that took on specific roles in order to protect us during challenging times. In our sessions, we learn how to approach these parts not with judgment, but with openness and presence. The body becomes our compass — guiding us through sensation, emotion, and memory, often beyond what words alone can reach.

Rather than trying to force change, we slow down. We listen. And in that space, something powerful happens: the nervous system starts to soften its guard. What once felt overwhelming becomes more manageable. What was once exiled inside you begins to feel safe enough to return.

This work doesn’t rush. It honors your timing. And it welcomes every part of you — no matter how hidden, chaotic, or tender it may feel.

Some of the necessary aspects of this are:

- Embodiment and feeling life energy within

- Grounding in present moment safety

- Accessing our inherent goodness, pleasure, and resource

- Building trust that it is safe to feel the hurt self

- Practicing authenticity and transparency

- Emoting and expression

- Opening past hurt and pain in tolerable chunks in order to heal it

- Learning higher, more loving truth about ourselves, others and the world

- Discovering who we really are in our true self

- Receiving love from a higher power

"Experience has taught us that we have only one enduring weapon in our struggle against mental illness: the emotional discovery and emotional acceptance of the truth in the individual and unique history of our childhood."

-Alice Miller

The awareness, feeling, and integration work aims at:

- becoming aware of and integrating the facade self and its self-protection mechanisms;

- feeling and releasing the pain of the hurt self;

- and tapping into and making our way towards the true, trauma-free self again.

Just as in nature where there is a natural self-correcting system, our body and soul is also designed to self-correct towards balance and health.

Just as in nature where there is a natural self-correcting system, our body and soul is also designed to self-correct towards balance and health.

This is a space for unwinding layers of pain, shame, and protective patterns, and reconnecting with your natural aliveness and inner wisdom. All of this unfolds within integrative holding.

Release, re-pattern, and heal.
